7th Grade Science Camp at Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI) is scheduled for May 31 - June 2, 2017!
If you are interested in being a chaperone, please send Ms. Chavez an email email@example.com as soon as possible. Please know that chaperones are responsible for providing proof of a TB test and must undergo fingerprinting.

Who is eligible to participate in CIMI?
Seventh Graders are eligible to participate in CIMI. Eligibility is based on grades, attendance, and behavior. If your student does not earn a minimum of 2.0 GPA at the end of the fourth quarter progress report, has any D's or F's or N's or U's in Citizenship; or has had any discipline incidents, he/she will not be eligible to attend CIMI Camp.
Space is limited to 135 students, therefore, reservations are accepted on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.
Important Preparation Dates - 2017
7th Grade Parent/Student CIMI Information Meeting - Tuesday, May 23, 2017 @ 6pm in the Adams Cafeteria. At this meeting, the following will be addressed:
- Camp CIMI Overview
- Cabin Assignments
- Pressing Questions
How much does CIMI Cost?
The cost for each student is $300. The cost includes camp & bus transportation fees. Please send a $150 deposit by Monday, April 10, 2017. Checks should be made payable to: ADAMS MIDDLE SCHOOL
FINAL payment of $150 is due by no later than Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
**Please note, if your child meets eligibility to attend CIMI Camp, and a deposit is made, his/her spot will immediately be reserved and deposits are non-refundable. If your child does NOT meet eligibility, you will be refunded for your total deposit.**
