After-School Academic Assistance Programs

Start Dates

Homework Club,Math Tutoring, and Library start Tuesday, January 3, 2012.  See below for specific meeting rooms and hours. Students must be picked-up promptly at 4pm.

 Adams Middle School provides academic assistance for all students in many different ways:

  • Homework Club is a voluntary after school program providing academic assistance for all students.  Each homework club is staffed with a credentialed teacher and additional staff where possible. 
  • Math Tutoring is also staffed with a credentialed teacher.  Each teacher will tutor at all levels of mathematics, such as Math 6, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra Readiness, and Geometry.
  • The Library/Media Center is available after school EVERY DAY until 4pm for students who need access to resources, a computer, or a quiet place to complete assignments.

If you are interested in participating in any of the after-school academic assistance programs, please read the attached Parent Letter in the "News" section and fill out the attached Procedures/Behavioral Standards Consent Form and send it with the student when he/she first reports to the appropriate academic assistance program.
