  • March 8 – 12, 2010                            Elementary School Visits

Adams Administrators/Counselors visit elementary classrooms, go over programs and pre-registration procedures with students, and distribute pre-registration materials for parents and teachers.  Students carry home pre-registration paperwork.

 

  • March 15 –  April 2, 2010                  Paperwork Completion

 

Parents and students complete pre-registration paperwork and return to elementary teachers.  Elementary teachers complete teacher paperwork.

Students tour Adams Middle School and learn about programs, policies, student activities, rules, and expectations.   Elementary teachers submit all pre-registration paperwork. 

 

Students will be given the opportunity to purchase a snack at our snack windows.  Please send student with no more than $5.00 if they wish to purchase a snack.

 

Parents are welcome to attend the tour with their child’s class.

Adams staff inputs course requests in Portal and create student schedules.

 

  • Friday, August 20, 2010                    Camp Adams                                         8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

 

This date is tentative pending Board approval of next year’s calendar.

 

This orientation program is open for all new students to Adams.  Students are provided the opportunity to learn about Middle School and Adams in general.  Strategies for successful transition from Elementary are also covered.  No registration is necessary.  Interested students should report to the Eagle Quad by 8:00 A.M.
