Saturday School

Saturday School is an opportunity for students to serve a consquence in lieu of a more serious one such as a formal suspension. In addition, students are provided the opportunity to complete class assignments and projects with the support of certificated instructors. Students may choose to attend Saturday School to complete work or may be assigned by the Administrative or Counseling staff as a consequence.

Saturday School is a 2 or 4 hour assignment and begins at 7:00 A.M. in room 10. Students with a 2 hour Saturday School are released at 9 A.M. Students with a 4 hour Satruday School have a 15 minute break at 9:15 and are released at 11 A.M.

Students are expected to bring school materials and assignments to complete during Saturday School. All school rules apply. Electronic devises are not allowed. Students may use cell phones before, after, and during break. Cell phones must be powered off while in the Saturday School Classroom.

Ms. Bein, Ms. Ibarra, Mr. Kilroy, Ms. Sharp, Mr. Sheehey, and Ms. Vazquez all supervise Saturday School on a rotating basis.

If you have questions or would like to sign up your child for Satuday School for work completion, please contact Assistant Principal, Robert Briggerman at 310-798-8636, X243.

For emergencies during Saturday School hours, please contact Mr. Briggerman at 310-877-6871.
