Your task: Write a narrative that tells a story about something that happened to you. It should mostly be true but you can make up parts to make it more interesting.

Here are all the documents you will need write a narrative. Complete them in this order:
1. Complete the Plot Diagram Document (can be written on paper)
2. Write the narrative on the copy we made for you. Write your name and title on the document.
3. Use the transition words to help your writing flow. Make sure to use dialogue (characters talking) in your writing.
4. Revise/edit your writing. You can always share it with a friend, sibling or parent for editing help.
5. Check over the rubric as you revise/edit so you have all the components we are looking for.

Don't forget to go back and review the Narrative slide show we posted last week. Also, we've attached a link to excellent student personal narratives samples. Read through them to see how they were structured and what elements the students used that you could also use in your writing.
