Born and raised in Taiwan, I grew up and fall in love with Chinese language and culture. My passion and determination to further my Chinese knowledge continued after I moved to California, where I started my high school. With my limited English ability, I struggled to learn both the English and the American education as a whole. With the support of my family, friends, and teachers, I was able to attend UCLA right after graduation, where I continue to pursue Chinese, Linguistics, Japanese and Math. I have my first major in Linguistics and Asian Language and Culture with Modern Japanese focus and a second major in Chinese, and I minored in math. After graduation, I worked with various after-school and tutoring agencies as I started my credential program in CSULB. I love Chinese language and culture and I hope all my students share my enthusiasm as they gradually find their passion!
