Adams Big Awards

The California Business for Educational Excellence (CBEE) Honor Roll identifies and recognizes the highest performing public schools in California that are consistently improving academic achievement, reducing achievement gaps and helping students become academically prepared for college.  The CBEE Honor Roll utilizes student achievement outcomes as the criteria and is a growing resource for schools to earn about best practices that increase student achievement.  The CBEE selected Adams Middle School as scholar school to be placed on their 2012 honor roll!

All students entering the 7th grade will need proof of a Tdap booster shot before starting school.  This requirement will be met by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recommendation to receive one dose of Tdap vaccine on or after the 7th birthday.  In order to insure a smooth transition into the 7th grade, please bring in your proof of a Tdap booster shot to the Health Office right away.

Blue Zones Partnership

The Beach Cities Health District has several upcoming Community Events:

Beach Cities Free Fitness Weekends is a partnership between Beach Cities Health District's Center for Health & Fitness and local fitness studios and gyms to provide more opportunities for Beach Cities residents to be healthy and have fun being physically active.  Nearly 25 local fitness studios are proud partners in providing Beach Cities residents more opportunities to be healthy and have fun! Starting Feb. 6-8, studios throughout the Beach Cities will offer 30+ free classes to help you connect with a fitness opportunity that you.  Some classes require pre-registration, others are available on a first come, first serve basis.  For more details or to sign up, go to Beach Cities Gym
