Solar Panel Project

Redondo Beach Unified School District is excited to announce that construction on our November 2012 voter passed Measure Q Solar Projects will begin Fall 2013.  Many of you are aware of the District’s continuing efforts to improve and modernize our schools.  We are grateful that our community recognizes the value of saving money and energy in order to provide the best educational environment for our students for today and into the future.

Adams Big Awards

The California Business for Educational Excellence (CBEE) Honor Roll identifies and recognizes the highest performing public schools in California that are consistently improving academic achievement, reducing achievement gaps and helping students become academically prepared for college.  The CBEE Honor Roll utilizes student achievement outcomes as the criteria and is a growing resource for schools to earn about best practices that increase student achievement.  The CBEE has selected Adams Middle School as scholar school to be placed on their honor roll!

DRAMA Auditions:

Auditions for Aesop’s Foibles, a fun farce based on the famous fables, this Thursday, January 29 after school in Room 20. Students should come by to pick up a monologue to read or come with your own 1-2 minute comedic monologue. Rehearsals will be 1-2 days a week after school for performances on March 26.  Any questions, come see Ms. Spainhower in Room 20.

Adams Middle School CyberPatriot Teams Receives State and National Recognition

Please join me in congratulating the CyberPatriot team of Slade Lim, Derren Lim, William Kronfeld, Jordan Oey, and CJ Dale for taking 2nd place in California and 6th overall in the nation in the Middle School Division Semifinals.   Finishing top 3 in the state, qualifies them for prestigious recognition from CyberPatriot. Congratulations on your accomplishments and thank you for having Eagle PRIDE!


All students entering the 7th grade will need proof of a Tdap booster shot before starting school.  This requirement will be met by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recommendation to receive one dose of Tdap vaccine on or after the 7th birthday.  In order to insure a smooth transition into the 7th grade, please bring in your proof of a Tdap booster shot to the Health Office right away.
