This week assignments the first part is taking the amplified mid chapter quiz. The second part is the first part of a 3-week project. We will use a google docs posted on Google Classroom, please read through all sections and answer in the boxed areas. This week you will continue to use the Google Doc and Amplified Online to complete the doc. On Monday at 1:00pm we can chat online, for any questions that you may have and do a review Kahoot for the assessment.

Dear Students and Parents,
Good morning students. I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I have attached new tomato photo’s Huston we have tomatoes, and many coming in, thanks Lauren for the photos.
Late work:
Make Sure you have submitted all work by June 5th, no late work will be accepted after June 5th at 3pm.
Office Hours:
I will continue to have office hours which will be from 9-11 am. I will be using the Remind app and Google Meets if you have any questions.

This week you will continue to use the Google Doc posted from last week. On Wednesday at 1:00pm we can chat online using WebEx, for any questions that you may have.

I will continue to have office hours which will be from 9-11 am. I will be using the Remind app and WebEx if you have any questions.

Grades:
If you see fluctuations in the gradebook in PowerSchool, teachers are now entering new grades to the gradebook. If you see a missing assignment, please have your student go back to that assignment and read the comments posted to the doc, revise the work, and then resubmit the assignment for credit.

P.1 Science Phase 1 Weeks 1-3 of Distance Learning
Science Phase 1 Weeks 1-3 of Distance Learning
On the first slide of your slide show, you will see a book picture. This is where you click to find the Living Wise Student Guide you will be working through this book. Each week through an email and on google classroom you will be assigned different pages. Then you will fill in the appropriate slides for the lessons you are going through. A template is given to you. All of your directions will be located on the bottom of your slides. Make sure you look at the notes at the bottom of each slide.
Week 1: This week you will be reading and taking notes on Chapter 1 Energy pages 1-21. Then doing slides 1-6.
Week 2: This week you will read and take notes (annotate) on Chapter 2 Natural Gas Pages 23-33, and Chapter 3 Electricity Pages 35-53. Then you will work on slides 7-20. Go back to the week 1 Google slide deck and keep working from where you left off. You might need to un-submit to work, don't worry, I can still see your work.
Week 3: (March 30- April 3) For this week to complete the presentation, you will read pages 55-57, and then complete slides 19-20. Then you are going to watch this video, and take notes on slide 21. Finally on slide 22 you will discuss what good evidence you found in the video and bad evidence from the video.
