We hope you have had a restful summer break, and are looking forward to an amazing school year at Adams Middle School!
As the school year is fast approaching (First Day of school is Wednesday, August 19th), we wanted to send some information for our upcoming registration days. Below you will find the following information:

Pre-Registration Items:
Prior to coming to registration, please complete the following items:
- Re-Registration process in Power School: Re-Registration Information: All RBUSD students need to complete the Re-registration form. Please see the link for more information.
- Purchase Items through ASB Webstore: Students can purchase PE uniforms and a lock for PE lockers. Student Agendas are also available for purchase. If you are new to Adams, you will need to set up an account prior to purchasing any items. Please use this link for instructions. If you purchased items on the online webstore prior to registration, please bring your receipt to pick up items at registration.
- Immunizations Records- 7th Grade ONLY. All current 7th grade students will need to submit Tdap Booster and Varicella immunization verification. This is required in order to complete registration and attend school. Submit this to the table during your scheduled registration day on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026.
- Join PTSA! All parents and students are encouraged to join the Adams Middle School PTSA. Join TODAY by clicking on this link- Join PTSA.
Day of Registration:
Registration Schedule: This day is intended for students to attend, and it is recommended that parents attend as well. We follow a Registration schedule by grade level and day. Please see below:
8th Grade: August 11th 8:30am-11am
7th Grade: August 12th 8:30-11am
6th Grade: August 13th 8:30am-3pm (6th Graders: Bring your old Chromebook and charger to switch out for a new chromebook).
8:30 A-D
9:30 E-H
10:30 I-L
12:30 M-P
1:30 Q-T
2:30 U-Z
Make-up Registration: Wednesday, August 19th, 1:00-3pm
Camp Adams: Friday, August 14th, 2025 8:30am-12pm (new students ONLY)

- Receive information from our community partners (PTSA, RBEF, Ebike Safety)
- Purchase PE Clothes and Agenda
- Receive your Class Spirit Shirt
- Take your student picture for ID and yearbook
- Obtain a student ID card
- Review a draft course schedule
- Pick up textbooks and other instructional materials
- New Chromebooks for 6th Grade and replacement of loaners (Returning Students)
Registration will be held in the Adams Middle School Gym. Entrance will be at the front of the school on Ripley Avenue. If you purchased items on the online webstore prior to registration, please bring your receipt to pick up items.
Student Pictures: Students will take their picture for yearbook and photo ID during registration. If you would like to purchase your student’s photos, you may place your order online at mydorian.com before picture day and up to four days after picture day. Click HERE for ordering information. Students will receive their student ID at the time their photo is taken.
Class Spirit Shirts: All students will receive a class shirt during Registration. This shirt is in their grade level class color. Students are encouraged to wear this shirt throughout the year on spirit days, and the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Chromebooks:
Incoming 6th Grade Students: Please bring your school issued Chromebook and charger to Registration. Students will return their school issued device before receiving their new Middle School Chromebook.
Other Helpful Information and Upcoming Dates:
Office Opening: Our office will be open beginning Thursday, August 6th. Hours are 8am-3:30pm until the first day of school.
Camp Adams- New Students Welcome! Adams is an activity run by our student WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) leaders and staff. Sixth-grade and any new student should attend the event on Friday, August 14th from 8:30am-12pm. Students will participate in a campus tour, ice breaker activities, and receive hints and tips from Adams 8th grade students who were in their shoes just a few short years ago. They will have the opportunity to find their classrooms, meet teachers, and learn about the campus without the pressure of getting to class on time during a regular school day. This activity is a great way for students to connect while alleviating some of the first-day jitters. We HIGHLY recommend that 6th grade students and new students to RBUSD attend Camp Adams.
PTSA Welcome: My name is Ashley Cooper, and I am honored to serve as your PTSA President for the upcoming school year. On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to warmly invite you to join the Adams PTSA for $13/membership. The ‘S’ in PTSA stands for students–and we strongly encourage you to enroll your young Eagle as a PTSA member, too! This school year, we are introducing FutureFund, our new easy-to-use website to manage your PTSA membership, purchase spirit wear, buy event tickets, and more! We encourage you to create your account today to enjoy seamless use throughout the year.
We’re also kicking off our one and only major fundraiser of the year: Eagle Status. Principal Meet & Greet, Friday, August 14th @ 8:30am: Adams PTSA warmly invites you to a meet-and-greet with our new Principal & Assistant Principal. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our school leaders and share any questions or thoughts you may have. Please click HERE to RSVP and submit your questions in advance. Yearbook: Pre-order your 2026-2027 Yearbook! Take advantage of our Back-to-School Special until the end of registration week, August 14th. Price goes up starting August 15. To guarantee your child receives a yearbook in June, it must be pre-ordered online at www.yearbookordercenter.com using school code 7452.
Ebike Certification: All students who ride ebikes to campus MUST go through the certification process and receive a completion sticker in order to park their bike on Adams Middle School campus. If you have a certificate of completion from a RBUSD verified program, please bring it to the front office so we can issue a verification sticker for your student to place on their bike. PowerSchool: Powerschool will be the mode to check and understand student grades. If you need to log into PowerSchool, please see the link here for instructions.
Parent Square: The main form of communication to parents will be through Parent Square. Parent Square can be downloaded in app form on your phone in the app store of your device, and you will use the same email address used when registering your child through Powerschool.
