About Me

Welcome 6th grade students and families!! I’m excited to start another school year and help you as you start your middle school journey. I teach both 6th grade English & Science.

After graduating from Cal Poly SLO I joined the Peace Corps where I volunteered in Panama. I began teaching through Teach For America in 2011, and have taught Middle School since then. I have a Multiple Subjects credential as well as a Single Subject English credential. Previously, I have taught in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Mississippi. In addition to teaching I have also coached soccer, baseball, football, and cross country. I'm currently attending Cal State Long Beach for my M.A. Educational Administration.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my wife (an elementary school teacher), our son, and our puppy. If you see us at the playground, the dog park, on the bike path, or around please say hi and introduce yourselves. I will also respond to all emails within 2 school days.

I enjoy being a part of the Redondo Beach community and especially the Adams Eagles Family!
