A little about me...

Hello Eagles! Although I have been teaching for many years, this marks my first year at Adams MS and I am thrilled to be part of the RBUSD family, especially as an Eagle! I co-teach 8th grade English for three periods, Reading Intervention for one period, and a 8th grade Advisement class as well.

I am enjoying getting to know your student(s); they have been very supportive in helping me with the transition to a new campus ("Ms. Stevens...your class is the other way", being just one example). 

 

I have two of my own children, who have become accomplished, independent adults in their own right. I know that much of their success is due to the connections their parents made with their teachers. My door is always open and I will consistently return phone calls and emails in a timely manner.

 

When I am not working, I am typically enjoying a Dodger game or one of our local walking trails, as well as lunching with friends and catching up on sleep!
