Heidi Jones- 7th and 8th Grade Social Science

Hello and welcome to our Social Science class! I am excited to have you as part of our classroom community this year!

 

My name is Heidi Jones and this is my 11th year teaching! I teach Social Science 8 (honors and non-honors), as well as Social Science 7. I was born and raised in Torrance and later moved to Garden Grove. I received my B.A. in History and Liberal Arts, with a minor in Ethnic Studies from Colorado State University and I received my teaching credential from CSU Fullerton.

 

Outside of teaching, I can be found spending time with my partner and two kids (I have a wild and wonderful 4-year old and a hilarious and sweet 1-year old). I also enjoy reading, slow mornings, and being in nature.

 

All materials for class, including the syllabus, will be posted on Schoology. Grades will be posted on PowerSchool.
