About Ms. Spainhower

Hi! I'm Ms. Spainhower! I teach 8th grade Language Arts. I grew up in the Bay Area in Northern California and completed my undergrad and first MA at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. I earned my teaching credential and MA in Teaching at UC Irvine. I have a reading and literacy authorization from CSULB. I love teaching ELA and I'm so excited to be your teacher this year!

I have two very cute dogs, Arya and Hermione. We live in Torrance where we enjoy reading, writing, nachos, and playing fetch.
